"Great experience and exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely shop with Sewell again."

This 1x4 HDMI Splitter and Extender kit lets you split one HDMI signal to four displays using cat5e/6 cable. It allows you to extend the signal up to 200ft. (Due to interference from the environment, and the quality of cat5/6 cable used the actual distance may vary)

How it works

This kit comes with one sender unit and four receiver units.

  1. Simply connect one to four receiver units to the sender with Cat5e/6 cable.
  2. Connect your HDMI cables from the sender and receiver units to their respective display or source device.
  3. Plug in the included power supplies. Pick up some USB to Barrel Connectors if you would like to power it from the display (remember, a 5V 1A USB port on the display is required).
  4. Your HDMI extension is now ready.

Pros: This is the best splitter we have ever used. We took 1 HD signal from cable box and into the splitter, then out to 4 TV;s at 135ft away and it works great! Excellent HD picture on all TV's. Fast, and easy hookup. Sewell has great products and great service. Will always buy here first.

Cons: NONE

Pros: Easy to set up. Just plug and play. Great range. Video quality is excellent. Sound is amazing. Very clean and compact design yet very durable. Lightweight. Picture looks great.

Cons: Does not work with CAT7 cables. Before I ordered I was told via email when I inquired if this system would work with our ALREADY Cat7 lines that we have already running and kept getting error messages on the screens that can't read and it's not supported. So far that was the only issue. So we just went ahead and spent about 100 bucks on a few Cat6.

Other: By far the best HD splitter extender via Cat lines we've used. We currently upgraded our church Live-streaming softwares and equipments and chose to try out these HD-Link HL14 by Sewell, and can say after 2 months we are elated and very satisfied with the functionality and the ease of use this product is. We also purchased the SplitDeck, 1x4 4K HDMI Splitter along with the HL14 to improve and increase our output capacities. We have about 6 TVs connected so far and the farthest one is almost 300ft in the Banquet Hall downstairs and we've had no issues whatsoever with signal losses or drop outs. The picture and video quality is simply awesome. Next farthest TVs are just about 200ft, then another one at a 120ft, then another at 50 and a few others in some other rooms about 75-100 away. Everything has worked superbly and as I mentioned earlier, we've been using for about 2months now and no issues whatsoever a part from not supporting our CAT 7 lines. Will be investing in more in the near future to expand our media department.

Pros: Works perfect on all three 150' runs of cat 6

Cons: Didn't handshake between hd tvs and my older projector

Other: It works great in our church. As listed above, I couldn't get it to handshake to my older projector for projecting to the ball of the sanctuary, but that may have been the adapters I had to use to get the signal to connect (hdmi to dvi then dvi to vga) or that the old projector could only do 4x3 it seemed. Bought another TV and it worked perfectly. Love Sewell products. Random note from past installations at other churches: if you're having issues, verify your cable first. They need to be shielded well especially for longer runs and wired properly at the ends. I bought premade cat6 cables especially for video transfer and they work perfectly.
